This program is designed for clients and professionals who have trusted, one-on-one relationships with individuals you know who are interested in passive, syndicated real estate investments. By making a personal introduction, you help qualified investors learn about Gatsby’s investment opportunities.
When your referral joins Gatsby and makes an investment, you earn a referral commission.
What Gatsby Investment Offers Investors
Gatsby Investment is a real estate syndication company offering accredited investors access to passive real estate investments without the responsibilities of personally buying, selling, renovating, or developing properties.
Through a pooled investment structure, investors can participate in professionally managed multi-family value-add and ground-up development projects that would typically be difficult to pursue individually due to scale, complexity, or capital requirements. Gatsby’s experienced team oversees acquisition, development, and management, allowing investors to access institutional-quality real estate opportunities with strong return potential, without day-to-day involvement.
Commission Structure
You earn a 1% commission on your referral’s total investment amount. This applies to investments made within the first three (3) months following your referral’s initial investment with Gatsby.
Example
If your referred investor contributes $100,000 during this period, you earn a $1,000 commission.
- Earned commissions are reviewed and paid at the end of the quarter following the investment period
- If your total referral commissions exceed $600 within a calendar year, Gatsby Investment will issue a Form 1099 for tax reporting purposes by year-end
Who Can Participate
You may participate in this program if you are one of the following:
- Existing Gatsby Investment clients
- Real estate agents and brokers
- Architects, interior designers, engineers, and other industry professionals
Investor Eligibility Requirements
To invest with Gatsby, investors must meet the SEC requirements for accredited investors. Gatsby Investment cannot accept investments from non-accredited investors.
Please review the accredited investor requirements before submitting a referral and ensure your referral meets and understands these qualifications.
How It Works
- Log In
Access your Gatsby Investment account.
- Go to Investor Referrals
Navigate to the My Account tab and select Investor Referral Program.
- Submit Your Referral
Enter your referral’s full name and contact details before they create a Gatsby Investment account.
- We Follow Up
Our team will contact your referral directly and include you on the initial introduction.
- Earn Commission
Once your referral makes their first investment, you earn a commission based on the amount invested within the first three (3) months.
Referral Guidelines
This referral program is relationship-based and is not intended for public advertising or mass promotion.
- Referrals must be submitted through your Gatsby account before the prospective investor creates a Gatsby Investment account
- Only new investors with no prior Gatsby account qualify
- Commissions apply only to investments made within the first three (3) months; investments made after this period do not qualify
- Referrals should be individuals you personally know and have discussed Gatsby with
- Use of Gatsby’s name, logo, or brand materials to solicit or attract investors is not permitted
- Referral commissions are subject to applicable laws, regulations, and internal approval
